Jaipur, the pink city was founded in 1727 by Maharaja Jay Singh 2. The city that once had been the capital of the royalty is now seen as the capital of Rajasthan. The very structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the royal family.
The city comprises some of the famous structures but foremost in your list of excursions must be the Amer fort complex. It is built atop of the Cheel ka Teela.
It’s located at about 9 KMs northwest of Jaipur and once was the capital of Meenas. In the foreground is the Mouter Lake with the breathtaking reflection of the magnificent Amer fort Palace. This Palace is one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture & provides a wonderful panoramic view of the strolling city below.
Within the palace, there is Dewan-E-Aam, or the hall of public audience, and Dewan-E-Khas, or the hall of private audience, and the Sukh Niwas or the pleasure place.
There is another specialty of Amer Fort called Seesh Mahal, the core of this structure is the pinnacle of the art of ornamentation with glass. There are the private chambers of the queens with having windows with special screens so that queens can watch the proceeding of the royal court in privacy.
There are a number of tourists visiting Amer Fort all around the world. If you are at the Amer, don’t forget to take a ride on the elephant which takes you to the top of the fort which is really marvelous in its own way. In Rajasthan music is deeply ingrained in the hearts & souls of inhabitants. Amer is undoubtedly is the grandest achievement of Rajput architecture.
At a distance of 6.5 Km from Jaipur are the cenotaphs of the royal family a crossway to the Jal Mahal Palace situated at Man Sagar Lake opposite the cenotaphs. The Jal Mahal palace is known for its intricate architecture. The Palace is developed as a spot of pleasure. It was used for royal duck shooting parties. So of the tourist visits to this place to enjoy the wonderful view of this lake and the palace. In the monsoons, it looks particularly startling with its red sense stones set against the water-filled lake. Apart from visiting different places, your Rajasthan trip will be incomplete without having a camel ride, which is such a thrilling and marvelous experience for every tourist.
One of the major attractions of Jaipur is the City Palace, where are a large number of tourists from all around the world visit. The City Palace is an imposing brand of Mughal art and architecture. The city place complex has seven palatial structures like the Chandra Mahal, Sri Govind dev temple & the city place museum. Another major attraction of this place is the armory digging back to the 15th century and many of the engineers and tricky weapons which the warrior Rajput is famous for. Paintings, Floral decorations & dolls in the traditional styles add to the palace. The city palace in Jaipur is truly a marvelous architecture of mankind & a place of sheer beauty and luxury.
